Product careProduct care
To keep your holster looking new, simply apply a coat of Kiwi Neutral shoe polish and buff to a shine. A little moisture will not harm the leather but care must be taken to keep it out of excessively moist environments. DO NOT USE products, such as Neatsfoot oil, Mink oil, or any other similar product designed to soften leather; this will only shorten the service life of the holster. New holsters PLEASE ENSURE YOUR FIREARM IS UNLOADED. When you first insert your firearm into a new holster, it may be a little stiff. This is normal. Please allow for a break in period. Wear the holster and gun around your house until you are happy with its feel. DO NOT USE products, such as Neatsfoot oil, Mink oil, or any other similar product designed to soften leather; this will only shorten the service life of the holster. Draw tension adjustment Use a Phillips screw driver to adjust the draw tension device. If minimal tension is desired, ensure the screw is at least partially threaded into the nut plate. Belt loop adjustment The first time you put the holster on, or after switching out belt loops, you will need to align the belt loops to the correct angle for the position you wish to wear it. Once you have done so, use a Phillips screw driver to snug up the belt loops, be careful not to over tighten. |
